Description
Description: Top part of an aluminium mess kit, similar in pattern and construction to its German counterpart. The lid has a folding wire handle triple riveted to its reverse. The body has a wire handle triple riveted to each side. It was common to see Italian equipment being reused by the German army after 1943.
The part is damaged by shrapnel.
